Members of the ENTRUST researcher consortium, including Niall Dunphy (UCC), Breffní Lennon (UCC), Esti Sanvvicente (LGI), Suzi Tart (LGI) and Giulia Barbano (IES) attended the 2018 World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) recently in Wels, Austria. This two-day event, which ran from Wednesday 28 February to Friday 2 March, brings together over 600 delegates from 50+ countries to present and listen to innovative research and renewable energy projects from across Europe. A guest speaker at the plenary session, Niall Dunphy also hosted a parallel workshop on research outcomes from the ENTRUST H2020 project. The workshop was a great success, demonstrated by the additional space needed to accommodate the high level of delegate interest in the project.
