ENTRUST work on behaviour change will be presented at 'Fuel Poverty and Climate Action Conference 2017' #FPCON17 to be held in Croke Park, Dublin on 6 March 2017. The aim of the conference organised by Energy Action Ireland is to 'provide a forum for those working in the area of fuel poverty, to share key information, experience, and perspectives in order to identify lasting solutions to the issue.' This year’s conference theme is: Fuel Poverty and Climate Action.
Denis Naughten TD, the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment (Ireland) will open the conference, which features a range of speakers from Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, England, and Belgium. It is hoped that the conference will 'facilitate dialogue between regulators, local authorities, politicians, health experts, researchers, private contractors, energy companies and the various agencies supporting vulnerable people'.
ENTRUST Project coordinator Niall Dunphy is a member of the panel on behaviour change, where he will present a paper entitled 'The homo economicus fallacy in behaviour and practice change'
