On the 24th and 25th September 2015, the first progress review meeting of ENTRUST – Energy System Transition Through Stakeholder Activation, Education and Skills Development – was held in Paris and hosted by LGI Consulting.
Representatives from each consortium member from Ireland, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, and Spain met for two days to conduct the project's first progress meeting. Representatives discussed and shared findings, outcomes and preliminary results of their work during the first 6-months of the project. At the end of a busy first day, most of the representatives had delivered their presentations, reviewed work package activities and discussed subsequent outcomes from those activities. Each partner's presentation involved a robust, yet collegial, exchange of ideas from the work packages outcomes to date.
The second day saw another packed schedule, which included discussions on the remaining work packages, and a dialogue on a number of key conceptual drivers of this project, namely intersectionality and energy citizenship. Niall Dunphy, coordinator of the project, chaired the closing session and outlined the work plan for the coming months. The ENTRUST consortium agreed that the next progress meeting will be held summer 2016 in Genoa (Italy).
